Tom Parker: The Wanted star has terminal brain tumour ‘I knew something wasn’t right’ | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV
Tom Parker, 32, is best known for being a member of the band The Wanted alongside Max George, Jay McGuinness and Siva Kaneswaran. The 32-year-old told fans he is in “shock” at being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.
Tom, who tied the knot with his wife Kelsey Hardwick in 2018, revealed he had an “inkling” something was wrong with his health.
The news of his brain tumour comes just months after he announced he and his other half are expecting a baby boy next month.
Tom and Kelsey welcomed their first daughter last year.
The emotional star said: “I’m still in complete shock, it’s so much to take in.”

His wife Kelsey said: “It has been a crazy six weeks. We had an inkling that something was wrong in July, but we never could have imagined it was this.”
Tom said the diagnosis didn’t feel real and added to OK! magazine: “I knew something wasn’t right, but I never expected it to be this. You never think this will happen to you.”
The singer revealed that he suffered a seizure in July and took himself to A&E where he was put on a waiting list for an MRI scan.
Just six weeks later, the former Wanted star was rushed to hospital for a second time after suffering another seizure during a family trip to Norwich.
“There’s no easy way to say this but I’ve sadly been diagnosed with a brain tumour and I’m already undergoing treatment.
“We decided, after a lot of thought, that rather than hiding away and trying to keep it a secret, we would do one interview where we could lay out all the details and let everyone know the facts in our own way.”
He continued: “We are all absolutely devastated but we are gonna fight this all the way.
“We don’t want your sadness, we just want love and positivity and together we will raise awareness of this terrible disease and look for all available treatment options.”
The singer finished: “It’s gonna be a tough battle but with everyone’s love and support we are going to beat this. Tom and Kelsey xxx”.
Tom accompanied the message with a photo with his family.
Fans have flocked to offer kind messages of support, as one person said: “You guys are so strong! Sending prayers and so much love.”
“You will beat this Tom your strong. Sending you all my love,” a second commented.
A third person added: “This is heartbreaking Tom.”
