Sitting alongside Eamonn on the show, she explained: “In case you are new to This Morning, because obviously a lot of people would normally be at work, please don’t panic that we’re not social distancing.
“Obviously Phillip [Schofield] and Holly [Willoughby] do – but we are married.
“As much as we bicker and you might not think we like each other…”
Eamonn joked: “I’m just not used to you touching me, that’s it.”
But Ruth continued: “We are allowed to touch and sit next to each other.”
