Rod Stewart reveals awkward moment with Penny Lancaster: ‘Never been so p***ed’ | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV
Sir Rod Stewart, 75, joined forces with Chris Evans, 54, to help raise money for the NHS amid the coronavirus pandemic. Earlier this week, the Maggie May singer talked about the moment he got drunk during his visit to Buckingham Palace.
Chris told listeners about the various items the legendary crooner had given up in a bid to raise money for NHS charities during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Virgin Radio DJ quizzed the singer on a photo which saw Rod standing outside the royal abode.
Chris said: “Rod, this photo of you outside Buckingham Palace, tell us about that?”
The hitmaker revealed the particular photo had not been seen by the public, adding he had been “p***ed” when it was taken.

Chris told listeners he had sent out an email to various celebrities including Rod, Will Smith, Susannah Constantine among others, to give up their prized possessions to raise money for charity.
The DJ then quizzed the singer on whether he had sent the email to other music legends such as Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger, Ronnie Wood and Sir Elton.
But the musician admitted he had “no connections” with Mick and claimed the latter had “changed his phone number”.
Chris said: “Now Rod, I did ask you in the email I sent you to forward the same email on to Ronnie [Wood] and Mick [Jagger]. Now, have you done that?”
