Phillip took to his Instagram stories and gave his three million followers a backstage insight into the daytime show.

As Holly chatted with the crew, her co-star could be seen stood underneath This Morning’s Spin the Wheel prop which is situated in the ceiling.

“Living dangerously. Here’s the Spin to Win wheel. Holly doesn’t like me going anywhere near it,” Phillip chuckled.

His co-presenter heard his comment and warned him to stay away from the prop as it looked unstable in the ceiling.

But the small-screen star seemingly appeared undeterred by Holly’s pleas to move from underneath the wheel.

Phillip reiterated: “You’ve got to live dangerously.”

A stunned Holly replied: “You’re weird.”

Elsewhere, the blonde beauty warned viewers to get “your tissues ready” earlier this week.

It comes after Holly was left in tears after This Morning aired a heartbreaking video of children being reunited with their grandparents for the first time in months since the nationwide lockdown.

She explained: “Earlier in the show, we looked at some of your family reunion photos over the weekend.”

Her co-host Phillip said: “Following new Government guidelines, single adults living alone or single parents can now form a support bubble with another household.”

Holly added: “So many of you have been in touch over the weekend sharing your videos. Get your tissues is all I can say.”

“We just watched this in the break and it set us off. Here we are.”

A series of clips showcased This Morning viewers who had filmed their children reuniting with their parents or grandparents was then shown, with youngsters running towards their relatives and hugging them while music played.

It comes as the UK Government enforced a nationwide lockdown for the past three months in a bid to slow the spread of coronavirus.

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10am.
