Christine Lampard: Loose Women star addresses romantic moment with Frank ‘He got nothing’ | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Loose Women star Christine Lampard, 41, who is married to Frank Lampard, 42, discussed proposals in a recent episode of Loose Women. The host and her fellow panellists Nadia Sawalha, Jane Moore and Kéllé Bryan shared their thoughts about women proposing men, instead of what is deemed as the traditional way.

During the chat, they also discussed whether or not the highest earner in the relationship should be the one who buys the ring.

Opening up to her fellow panellists, Christine said: “I feel very empowered and on the feminist side of things and everything else, but I love nothing more than being asked.

“So where does that sit? And I love surprises.”

Pointing at her sparkly wedding ring, Jane interjected: “And you wouldn’t want to pay for that yourself.”

Laughing, Christine agreed and joked: “He got nothing!”

She added: “I do understand though, I think we are pre-programmed and still feel like that is the way it should be, but maybe we do need to give our guys a bit of a break.”

Christine’s ring, which features a large solitaire diamond, is believed to have cost a staggering £120,000.

Chelsea Football Club manager Frank is said to have got down on one knee during the couple’s trip to Los Angeles.

She previously said of her ring and the proposal: “Frank did it all, I had nothing to do with it, I never tried anything on. I loved that, I didn’t actually care what it looked like.”

Frank and Christine tied the knot in 2015. Three years later, she gave birth to their first child together; a daughter named Patricia.
